Essential course ideal for low-risk workplaces. Focuses on life-saving skills like CPR, choking, bleeding, and shock management and complies with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Annual Refresher First Aid at Work (RQF)

3 hour CPD

A half-day refresher recommended annually by the HSE to keep first aiders confident and up to date. Recommended for qualified First Aiders (holding valid FAW or EFAW certificates.

Regulated qualification provides essential first aid skills for anyone responsible for infants and children. It meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is recognised by Ofsted, making it suitable for childminders, nursery staff, and early years professionals. Also staff now require full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certification to be counted in staff-to-child ratios.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Provides essential first aid skills for anyone working with infants and young children in low-risk settings. It meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and is recognised by Ofsted as part of compliant first aid provision. However, EPFA is still valid for support roles and outings, but cannot be used alone to meet ratio requirements.

A 3-hour refresher to maintain confidence and competence in paediatric first aid skills.
